I`m happy to share my story with you.

 

Nearly 40 years ago in the village Darjanitsa, Vidin my father - Sava Angelov Savov, marked the beginning of our honey harvesting. Initially, as a kind of hobby, and later expanded as a source to help the family budget. My father is a professional civil engineer, at heart is an artist and musician and long-time violinist in the Lom operetta, by vocation, however he is a real bee-keeper. His love for bees, admiration and respect to these divine beings, and his belief that daily consumption of natural bee products are vital to the health of our family provoked in me the desire to continue and develop this into a business.

 

Step by step we significantly expanded the swarms and started obtaining the full range of bee products: honey, pollen, propolis, wax and royal jelly. We took action to alleviate the manual labour by partial mechanization of the production and we opened our first store in Sofia in which I sell personally without any mediators the products from north-western Bulgaria which is recognized as a clean area for the development of organic bee-keeping.

 

My father always said that his riches are millions of winged pharmacists and pharmacist a stationary one. Wondering what could be a stationary pharmacist – I will tell you, this is my mother - Nevenka Savova, a long-time master of pharmacy and chief facilitator of the bee production. Her "trademarks" are tinctures and ointments that she precisely prepares till this day. Recently, she has a worthy successor - my son Sava, who is a practicing pharmacist, actively involved in the family business.

 

My mother although believes that the pharmacy is the “grace of the nation” has always claimed that truth is in prevention, which is provided by the consumption of healthy organic food, such as honey and honey products, food education and healthy lifestyle . She believes that beautiful person is a healthy person – and I cannot help but to agree!

 

What can I say about myself – A few years ago I decided it was time to close the production cycle by creating a firm and start selling what we have harvested by guaranteeing with my name. I opened my first store with the understanding that It is important to comply with the high hygiene standards, be precise weights of our products and treat my customers fair. In addition to our honey and products, walnut kernels, tinctures and ointments that are self-produced we began to offer products such as natural tahini, various nuts, dried fruits and other healthy foods, natural cosmetics from Bulgarian producers which I have carefully tested and studied. Slowly and consistently I work to build trust with my customer because mutual trust is the key to the success of each and every one of us.

 

My many clients whom I face daily in my stores give me confidence and self-esteem. They, as do I, believe that the true natural products with reliable background are worth the effort and cost. Since recently our honey is being enjoyed by customers from Netherlands and Spain.

 

I am happy that I learned, built and established the family tradition in the production of honey and products and turned it into a business and a vocation. Maintenance and quality control of the bee products produced are periodically performed via laboratory tests and analyses.

 

That's what we are – this is the way we think, work and live our lives. We think of our customers as friends and enjoy the contacts we have with them. To all our current and future customers, as well as their families and friends, we wish good health and a happy and life.
